Yes, the first version of this software was released in 1989. The first version of the software was DOS based. Since a product of this nature requires dedicated support and service, we undertook sale of this software to our premier customers in and around Pune city. This enabled us to concentrate our efforts on developmental front.
Thereafter, we release our second version of the software ‘Designer’s DeskTop’. This was a well accepted product by industry and we had 110 licensed users of the product. The calculations produced from this software had been approved by a number of TPI agencies.
In an endeavor to reach global market and to make the product more versatile, user friendly and also incorporate latest technological features, we embarked on the path of re-developing our new software product, “CademPVD”. In shortest span we have quite a few users of this new version of the software.
We have provided the list of ever increasing users on our website and can check the same.
The current version of the software is very compact software and when loaded on your computer occupies about40 MB disk space. It can work on any computer that runs Windows operating system having .NET technology support 3.5 or later.
One can prepare mechanical design of equipment with unmatched design speed; it takes between 10 to 15 minutes only to design complicated equipment such as a heat exchanger or a column. Thus you can prepare for final design and their documentation at the time of preparing estimates for quotation purposes. This you can achieve with our software without spending any extra efforts in terms of time and money.
‘CademPVD’ is stand-alone software and does not require any other software, except operating system. You can produce design reports, with intermediate code clauses / references & formulae with detailed calculation in a professional and concise manner. This will aid in obtaining customer, consultant’s and/or statutory body’s approvals. These can also enable and make the ISO process easier.
‘CademPVD’ is user friendly, easy to use software and does not require any special training. Any person with knowledge of process equipment can operate the software easily. It provides an in-built tutorial and help facility for the novice users.
And, most importantly unlike in other software products, one need not be a hardcore designer to design and/or obtain estimates using this software.
The current version of the software supports about 3000 materials and their properties covered in ASME Sec. II Part D. This eliminates the need for the user to add any extra material. However, it also provides utility for adding/updating materials and their properties. We can also provide this service to the users at nominal additional cost.
This software has in-built wind and seismic data as per various codes. The codes covered include IS codes, UBC codes, IBC codes, AISC codes etc. We can update the list to cover relevant geographic codes to meet the needs of the software purchaser free of cost.
